RESPONSIBILTIESAssists the Government in defining product support considerations for establishment and sustainment of unclassified and classified Government/commercial (hybrid) cloud capabilities. Obtains/sustains any future instantiations of commercial services in support of establishing and maintaining a hybrid cloud environment. Maintains and sustains existing cloud connections within the environment and ensure that any applicable DCGS applications are fully integrated into future evolutions of a hybrid DCGS cloud environment. Maintains connections to the Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) (e.g., Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure) for applications and SW defined networking and storage capabilities, applications and systems Oversees AF DCGS mission operations and sustainment activities to ensure optimal performance of mission applications for the AF DCGS user community Responsible for deploying, continuous monitoring, incident management, and problem management, otherwise known as Cloud Operations (CloudOps) for AF DCGS mission applications Oversees administrative tasks, such as account provisioning, vulnerability scanning, vulnerability patching, and responding to customer requests for information, such as system and security logs Collaborates with AF DCGS engineers and developers in collecting information used for analysis, compliance, and configuration management Supports cloud sustainment team by providing cloud architecture and engineering expertise to the Cloud Manager, Cloud Application Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Administrators, and Cloud Application Administrators Provides consultation to internal and external AF DCGS stakeholders on cloud architecture, engineering, and sustainment operations. KEY QUALIFICATIONS Clearance: TS/SCI required Education and Years of Experience: MA/MS Degree and 10 years of experience, BA/BS Degree and 18 years of experience, or 22 years of experience without a degree. Security+ CE Certification (or other IAT Level II or III Certification (i.e. CISSP)) Able to work on high visibility or mission critical aspects and perform functional duties independently.
