Interface with New Product Innovation (NPI) engineers, industrial engineers, product engineers, and quality engineers to support the transition from development to production.Contribute to researching and evaluating new technologies for possible product inclusion. Lead the electrical product roadmap definition and proposals. Provide technical mentorship to other team members.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of education. Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing electrical/electronic products.At least 3 years of experience leading cross-functional projects as a technical lead. Self-driven team player with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Experience with failure mode analysis, and design to meet EMC/EMI/Safety regulations. Excellent technical writing, communication, and project management skillsKnowledge of the National Electrical Code, UL962, and EN62368 standards is a plus. Ability to travel to work with suppliers worldwide.Ability to lift 40 pounds.COMPUTER SKILLS:Experience in eCAD and simulation software, such as Altium Designer, SolidWorks PCB, and LTSpice. Proficiency in schematic design, PCB layout, firmware development, board bring-up, failure mode analysis, and design to meet Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) safety regulations.
