G & G Industries, an ISO/TS 16949 supplier of automotive interior trim components and engine compartment/underbody insulators, and industry leader in manufacturing composite molded substrates, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer/Project Engineer.Responsibilities will include:Design & implementation of new processes/productsOptimization of existing processes, tooling & equipmentWork as part of a team on new product launchesInvolvement in new and used capital equipment installation and setupOversight of design and build of product toolingManagement of project budgetsHands-on robot programming assistance for automated waterjet and material transfer systemsWork closely with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Manufacturing team members to troubleshoot process, quality and equipment issuesInvolvement in plant & process layout activitiesDocumentation of Engineering changes & process changesLead root cause analysis and execute effective corrective actionsAssist manufacturing operators with training and support on early buildsParticipation in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projectsLead scrap, labor and waste reduction activitiesPromote a teamwork environmentComply with Company quality standards and IATF 16949 guidelinesPromote health and safety in all aspects of engineering and product launchEducational Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical EngineeringDesired Work Experience:Preferred Candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience in Automotive parts manufacturing is preferredDesired Skills:Ability to work in a team environment and have a positive attitudeRobot programming of ABB, Yaskawa/Motoman, and/or Fanuc a plusAllen Bradley PLC familiarity
