Improve plant safety • Advance plant safety through assigned safety projects and work collaboratively with Safety and Plant Management. • Maintains an advanced understanding of safety policies and expectations and demonstrates this in daily work. • Drive safety engagement within the plant and actively participate in safety events and safety committee meetings. Progress local automation and technology • Execute initiatives to reduce deployment times for collaborative robots, automation, and IMM robotic changeovers. • Develop and perform initiatives to reduce machine cycle time tied to robotics and automation. • Implements improvements to existing automation, auxiliary equipment, and other technologies through mechanical, electrical, and PLC programming skills. • Maintains updated understanding of latest plastics and robotic technologies.
