Position SummarySupport Store Development processes by implementing, maintaining, analyzing, and recommending process improvements to support all goals and objectives in accordance with the strategic plan. This includes supporting the Legal, Real Estate, Pre-Construction and Construction teams by creating, executing, notarizing, and distributing legal documents related to purchases, leases, construction, change orders, purchase orders, terminations, and the amendments of all such documents. Additional responsibilities including coordinating deliverables with all levels of management and acting as a liaison across functional areas, as well as with outside vendors, including extracting and disseminating information, conflict resolution, and account reconciliation.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Preconstruction, Construction and General Contractor team members to coordinate the process of all Dry utility-related aspects of the project including new services and the relocation of existing services if needed, from utility service request to final report and hand off to the Energy Team for assigned projects by performing the following duties:Responsible for Identifying & contacting each utility provider to find out what the process for obtaining services will entail and assisting the design team with compiling plan packages with cover letters and applications for submittal to utilities or other agencies as needed. Follow up to ensure that utility providers have received packages and are preparing any necessary engineering plans, contracts, easements, etc. needed.Coordinate with any regional third-party consultants which specialize in dry utility coordinating.Follow-up with Utility contacts as needed for obtaining necessary information, plans, data, specifications, and other items critical to the proper flow of information and develop timeline for utility installation.Review for correctness any required engineering, contracts and easements & Coordinate obtaining the appropriate signatures from the Project Manager or Sr. management as needed. Review any Utility cost information with Preconstruction managers to ensure that project budgets are maintained or to determine if any project re-approvals will be required to fund the new services.Facilitate the writing of purchase orders or check requisitions as needed to pay any upfront engineering fees or contract fees for the installation of new services.Administration of project records, including Creating and maintaining project status reports/spreadsheets.Serve as primary point of contact for the design team, civil engineer, architect etc. with regards to the Dry Utility design process as well as actively coordinate with AutoZone's contractors during construction process and dry utility installation. Identifying project scheduling and information problems, initiating remedy, and notifying the Project Managers of any prospective delays.Experience reading blueprints strongly preferred. Familiar with utility provider processes a plus. Autocad experience preferred but not required.Education and/or ExperienceREQUIRED: Level of Formal Education: An Associate's degree (two-year program) or equivalent formal training program.Area of Study: Business or FinanceYears of Experience: Three to five years.Type of Experience: Commercial development or transferrable residential development experienceSpecial Certifications or Technical Skills: Must be proficient with navigating Microsoft Windows and possess medium to advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point & Word - Access is a plus).
