More specifically, the EA will be a member of our Nuclear business unit and will provide direct support to the President Nuclear Operations and Chief Nuclear Office (CNO), the SVP Nuclear Operations & Fleet Support, and the VP Nuclear Engineering. The EA role is responsible for advanced administrative support which can be complex at times and will involve highly sensitive business information. The preferred work location is our Innsbrook campus located in Glen Allen, VA but our stations in Jenkinsville, SC, Mineral, VA, Surry, VA or Waterford, CT are possible. Primary duties will include: + Managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling corporate and commercial travel arrangements + Preparing, proofing, and finalizing business correspondence and documents + Maintaining the highest levels of discretion when distributing emails and managing business information + Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders regarding meeting logistics, presentation invitations, and meeting preparation + Working independently on research projects of a sensitive/confidential issues + Vetting incoming correspondence, phone calls, and requests and effectively routing them to the most appropriate department leader or stakeholder + Providing support for special projects including the preparation of presentation materials and similar work products + Organizing and managing special events and meetings + Using SAP to timely process expense reports, timesheets, purchase requisitions and disbursement requests + Collecting and analyzing business unit data + Maintaining department files and information databases + Purchasing supplies associated with day-to-day business needs and planned events + Managing business costs to maintain budget + Back up assistant to other executive assistants as needed **Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience** + 5 or more years of experience in a lead or senior administrative role (or equivalent) and/or supporting executive level positions + Advanced ability to organize, track, and complete work assignments within tight deadlines and with a high degree of quality + Proven ability to exercise diplomacy, accountability, dependability and confidentiality in all facets of the role + Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing + Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products + Proven ability to assess and prioritize competing requests from various stakeholders + Proven ability to build trust and rapport with team members at various levels of the organization including other executive and administrative assistants + Ability to quickly develop a working understanding of the Nuclear industry and its business vocabulary and protocols + Ability to learn and navigate large company operations, organizational procedures, and personnel Preferred Candidates will have obtained an Associates or Bachelors degree Preferred Candidates will have obtained additional education in the form of professional certifications related to business management or administrative support The company is actively seeking United States military veterans and service members who meet the qualifications.
