Add insight to supported departments through enhanced reporting and financial analysis with guidance from FP&A management.Responsible for soliciting capital budget requests from supported departments, analyzing ROI, prioritizing and presenting results to FP&A management. Once approved, track actual spending and update forecasts for future expenditures as needed.Develop, maintain and continuously improve recurring financial reporting for senior and executive leadership.Perform data integrity and validation during month-end close, including transactional research from financial system and source documents. Guide less experienced analysts on completion of this recurring task.Identify, initiate and support other ad hoc analyses and projects as required. Gather & analyze data from disparate sources, develop hypotheses & conclusions, and present analytical results to both FP&A and operational management.Qualifications:Relevant years of previous financial planning, budgeting and analysis experience.Exceptional Excel skills and hands-on experience with analysis and modeling in conjunction with financial tools (e.g., Adaptive, Tableau, PeopleSoft, DataWarehouse, etc.).Excellent oral and written communication skills also required to interact with all levels of the organization.Successful candidate should be confident in their abilities to work efficiently and independently as well as within a team environment.Success in the role requires a high level of accuracy, productivity and flexibility to multitask various projects within a deadline driven environment.Prior experience as a finance business partner is required.
