Sitting on the reporting team, this individual will actively collaborate with the business to manage a growing portfolio of non-regulated solar and wind assets. As the Lead Accounting Analyst - Reporting, your primary role will involve reviewing compliance and reporting aspects related to solar and wind operating projects. This includes assessing project deliverables, meeting lender requirements (such as financial statements and debt service coverage ratios), coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of accounting concepts, practices, and procedures, along with a keen eye for accuracy and experience in overseeing financial statements. Responsibilities include:• Review financial statements (quarterly and annually) for assigned project/portfolio financings/partnerships. • Assess debt service coverage ratio filings (quarterly or semi-annually) for assigned project/portfolio financings. • Oversee internal reporting requirements. • Conduct analytical reviews of assigned projects' results. • Evaluate annual external audit deliverables for assigned project/portfolio financings/partnerships. • Familiarize yourself with assigned projects/portfolios by reviewing financing and partnership agreements. • Ensure compliance with debt covenants and any new applicable accounting standards. • Collaborate with lenders, JV partners, external auditors, vendors, and consultants as needed. • Handle ad hoc requests from internal and external parties or special projects.
