Qualifications A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science is required. 5+ years' experience in industries such as Oil & Gas, Water/Wastewater, Mining Life Sciences, Building Automation, Manufacturing and Food & Beverage. Experience in the design of electrical schematics, including power distribution under 480VAC, control panels and associated NEC references desired. Experience with AutoCAD is also desired. Help to develop and qualify membrane process on new equipment to meet KPOV targets. Utilize statistical tools to analyze experimental data to drive development and optimize processes. Drive readiness of a new membrane manufacturing line. Work with Operations, Quality, Automation, New Product Introduction teams to ensure all requirements are met. Work with Engineers, Maintenance and Reliability personnel and Operations to define PM programs (including spares inventories, frequency, and timing, etc) for new assets. May require the use of criticality assessments and FMEA’s in concert with the Engineering staff. Develop and drive new solutions to existing membrane/device manufacturing challenges such as improving yield, increasing capacity, and minimizing variation. Provide documentation support such as creating/maintaining drawings, SOPs, test procedures, test data. Be a hands-on Engineer to go out on the production floor and learn the process Someone in this role will work closely with the Sr. Engineer, to plan and execute experiments, as well as drive completion of various tasks to get process qualified for production.
