In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving ongoing insights that support our strategic plan and contribute to the growth of our business lines.Responsibilities:Design and Execute Market Research Studies:Lead both quantitative and qualitative primary market research studies from inception to conclusion.Facilitate consultative discussions, define research approaches, and design studies.Identify key stories and implications, socialize findings, and drive actionable changes.Vendor Management and Internal Research:Manage research vendors or conduct internal research, choosing the most effective approach for strategic initiatives.Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless operations of ongoing customer feedback loops.Optimize program setups, review results, perform additional data analysis, and act as a point person for internal teams.Voice of Customer (VoC) Program Oversight:Oversee day-to-day management of the VoC program.Work closely with the Marketing Research and Segmentation Manager, FVP, and the vendor.Identify key customer touchpoints, assess operational feasibility, and design new feedback programs.Additional Responsibilities:Conduct in-depth analysis of operational, financial, or customer data to identify key attributes that illuminate customer experience/journey or business opportunities.Support market and competitive intelligence initiatives through secondary research and competitive analysis.Manage internal vendor contracting/onboarding processes and existing vendor relationships.Collaborate effectively with Marketing colleagues and cross-functional teams.Perform other duties as required.Qualifications:BA/BS; advanced degree preferred.5+ years of experience in primary research and/or VoC/CX Programs.Proven track record of independently managing and leading primary research or VoC programs end-to-end.Hands-on experience with a wide range of quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies; market research-specific statistics and analytics expertise.Market & competitive intelligence analysis training and experience preferred.Experience with financial services or other regulated industries preferred.Ability to process, analyze, and synthesize data from primary, secondary, and operational sources.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, simplifying complex analysis for impactful storytelling.Strong project management skills; highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.Self-motivated, proactive, and adept at handling multiple projects simultaneously.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn other digital platforms.Proficient in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, MS Access, crosstab tools) and survey management software (e.g., Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, Conformit); VoC/CX platform experience is preferred.
