He/she is responsible for achieving the at most score(s) in internal and external audits, maintaining top notch quality for our products, training our personnel, and preparing them for success. He/she will be working closely with the engineering manager and plant manager to implement new techniques and to develop SOP and training methods. QC Supervisors are individuals that are highly organized, self-motivative, and exhibit meticulous attention to details for multiple products in a short period. He/she must have excellent communication and managerial skills.Job Responsibilities: Manage plant(s) QC technicians. Including multiple sites, travel up to 30%. Perform Pre-Pour inspections on product prior to pouring (product dimensions, reinforcement size and location, inserts and lifting devices, block-outs ...etc.) Perform Post-Pour inspections on product ensuring it is ready for the customer. Tracking of customer complaints and major defects to include root cause analysis and correction measures. Represent the customer inside our factory. Test Concrete and raw materials as needed. Lead QC meetings and follow up on Corrective Actions. Ensure all documentation is organized and complete. Coordinate with production on all schedule changes and errors. Assist in conducting QA Audits. Train plant employees on precast concrete technology and QC requirements. Requirements: 2+ years of recent Quality experience; preferably in precast concrete (Wet or Dry cast), and minimum 1 year of supervisory experience. Construction experience a plus. have good Microsoft office skills. Must have Certification(s) from local DOT and/or national committees (NPCA, ACPA, ACI, or PCI) or equivalent. Working knowledge of how to read and interpret construction drawings. Basic Mathematical skills to calculate dimensions, weights, and volumes. Education/Experience: Associate degree or equivalent education; or equivalent in years of related experience or training preferred. Pay Range: The annual salary is 60,000 - 80,000 based on experience.
