Assist Government Pricing Manager with identifying items for inclusion required for government pricing calculations.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage, analyze, and validate all aspects of customer discounts, rebates, and allowances.In-depth knowledge of software systems to extract specific data for required calculations.Continuous review of customer rebate terms and conditions to ensure accurate calculation methodology.Effectively analyze assigned customer accounts for accrual balance variance and provide recommendations for adjustments to clear.Develop and implement process enhancements to ensure quality and accuracy of results.Prepare and distribute customer correspondence relating to rebates and allowances.Work with Audit department to validate/deny disputed claims.Continuous review of discount/allowance types to ensure compliance with government pricing calculation requirements.Provide key information to management team for requested rebate data.Develop tools to measure and improve the effectiveness of rebate processing.May have to present volume incentive rebates sales data projections in monthly Customer Focus Meetings.Work closely with AR to clear any unauthorized customer deductions.Review system accuracy of products, pricing, terms and conditions as they relate to the rebate function.Special projects as neededEDUCATION REQUIRED Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance and 2 years relevant pharmaceutical experience in rebates and financial analysis, or High School Diploma and 4 years of experience.
