The job duties for this position are:Develop and modify complex, deadline-intensive and/or mission-critical Airline crew applications using advanced programming tools; Implement security and vulnerability scanning with tools including Coverity and Sonarqube to maintain coding standards and procedures and review others work as appropriate; Assist others in the practice of paired programming and recommend development tools such as Visual Studios and IntelliJ to best meet application needs; Analyze Airline Crew users’ needs and then design and develop Crew IT applications and software to meet users’ needs; Recommend process, methodology, and tool changes with Architects and Quality assurance to best meet the Airline Crew department and client's needs; Work with Quality assurance to participate in unit, performance, and automated user acceptance testing based on an understanding of DevOps principles; Participate in architectural recommendations / decisions and work with other product crew infrastructure groups as applicable to determine and implement Micro-frontends and Mongo databases; Utilize experience with technical production support for Airline Crew applications, assist with complex problem resolution, and respond with solutions to both functional and technical issues in a timely manner; Provide on-call support for the Airline Crew users to troubleshoot issues raised by our Airline Crew clientele; Be able to assume Squad Lead responsibilities as needed to ensure agile ceremonies take place on time; Work with DBAs & Architects to ensure logical and physical data models and relationship diagrams are completed per Airline Crew User requirements.
