Description Business Information Developer Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and in office 1 - 2 days per week). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of our Norfolk, VA, Richmond, VA, Indianapolis, IN, Atlanta, GA, and Mason, OH Pulse Point locations. The Business Information Developer is responsible for assisting with the development and execution of data mining analyses to enhance reporting functionality and identify data relationships and patterns. How you will make an impact: Creates and maintains databases to track business performance. Analyzes data and summarizes performance using summary statistical procedures. Develops and analyzes business performance reports (e.g., for claims data, provider data, utilization data) and provides notations of performance deviations and anomalies. Devise best way to develop appropriate diagnostic and/or tracking data for business issues that will translate business requirements into usable decision support tools. Make recommendations based upon data analysis. Minimum Requirements: Requires a BS/BA degree; up to 2 years' experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau strongly preferred. 3+ years of experience with SQL server developing complex queries, querying data warehouse, relational strongly preferred. Experience creating dashboards, KPI scorecards, subscription reports, self-service and ad hoc reports strongly preferred. Experience with SSRS and SSIS strongly preferred. Ability to manipulate large sets of data is strongly preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are strongly preferred. Healthcare background with a focus on reporting recoveries on DRG billed claims strongly preferred. Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tableau Developer and/or Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of hands-on experience in developing data visualizations, scripting, and creating interactive dashboards using Tableau. This effort is supporting a multi-year DoD facilities & construction contract. A clearance is not required, however, applicants must be suitable for government employment. This project will serve a branch of the military as the footprint for all project and data management. You will be required onsite 4x a week and remote for one day.Must Haves: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Tableau in a professional setting.Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep Builder.Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.Experience with scripting languages such as SQL, Python, or R.US Citizen and suitability for federal employment Pluses: Tableau certification(s) (e.g., Tableau Desktop Certified Professional).Experience with other BI tools such as Power BI or QlikView.Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.Day to Day: Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and translate them into effective Tableau solutions.Perform data analysis and visualization to uncover insights and trends.Optimize Tableau workbooks and dashboards for performance and usability.Implement best practices for data visualization and dashboard design.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Tableau developers.
