Project Assistance (75%)Provides administrative support and coordinates the planning, execution, and follow-up related to virtual and/or in-person meetings and workshops;Serves as a project liaison and note-taker for meetings, convenings, workshops, and other program related conversations;Closely monitors and adjusts project timelines and work plans, communicates upcoming deadlines and priorities, and works closely with other members of the team to ensure smooth, on-schedule implementation of project activities;In coordination with the program’s internal teams (finance, contracts, communications), serve as the projects’ point person for related activities to coordinate timeline workflows and attention to processes;Coordinates with external consultants including interpretation and translation services for research activities, communications services, etc.;Organizes the project’s events calendar, including scheduling and drafting agendas for meetingsTracks relevant virtual and/or in-person global education events through which the project could share CUE findings, connect with other actors, etc.;Regularly tracks and inputs relevant data into project monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) plans and trackers;Serves as a primary point of contact with global partners and colleagues of the team, regularly communicating via email and related platforms about relevant project activities, deadlines, scheduling, events, etc.Contributes to the project’s social media presence, including making postings on relevant social media sites, and proactively identifying and carrying out innovative strategies using social media to amplify the visibility of research insights;Assists with travel and event logistics for international events, including supporting with contracting processes, coordinating with vendors, and supporting with travel arrangements;Supports with tracking and submitting project expenses; andOther administrative duties as assigned.Research Assistance (25%)Supports research, review, compiling, and processing data and information on education-related issues themes from various sources related to the work of the team;Assists with the drafting, editing, and/or proofreading of briefing documents, project reports, concept notes, and other internal and external written research documents;Supports content development for blogs and other communications pieces, and drafts or contributes to communications pieces under the guidance of other team members;Monitors and summarizes current events, debates, policy analysis, and research related to the field of education;Collects, organizes, and tracks data submissions and documentation from research partners;Other research assistance duties as needed.QualificationsReady to make an impact? Prior experience organizing high-level events and meetings with senior stakeholders is a plus. Experience living, working, and/or studying abroad is a plus.
