The Position: We're looking for a Software Automation Commissioning Leader. Lead the software automation commissioning activities for a site projects as part of the Commissioning & Site North America organization. Lead Automation Engineers in commissioning activities at the customer such as PLC software debug, HMI and special applications. At the customer site, this role will report to the Site Manager responsible for the project site and will be responsible for software commissioning from power-on of the lines through all the customer's milestones until the full automatic production. Responsibilities:Main areas of responsibilities are:Focused on timing, quality and cost management in software commissioning supporting the Site Manager responsible for the customer site.Lead a team of Automation Engineers in the debug and test of PLC/HMI/Motion/Vision/Safety system control software at Customer Site.Configuration and start-up of all the HW devices: manifolds, inverters, safety devices, access gates, motors at Customer Site.Be involved in the with Software Engineering during the integration phase and handover over from Engineering to Commissioning & Site,Create documentation compliant with customer commissioning standardParticipate in team meetings, project reviews and managing open issues related to software commissioning.Coordinate internal and outsourced Software teamTechnical link on site between customer and engineering.Track and record update status and variation on the original scopeGuarantee whole system functionalities respecting cycle-time and product qualityMentor and develop Automation Engineers in the Commissioning organization.
