The DOM is the largest academic department at BWH and among the largest in the countryThe Division of Preventive Medicine is involved extensively in large-scale randomized prevention trials, epidemiologic research, and the teaching and training of students and fellows. The Division is comprised of 20 faculty, 80 staff, five postdoctoral fellows, and 15 sponsored staff, and is located in rented office, laboratory, and repository space ~1.5 miles from the main hospital campus.
