The Tax Accountant will assist the Tax Manager to ensure that all the tax and regulatory requirements are met in an efficient and timely manner while also ensuring that the Company pays the minimum amount of taxes and fees legally required.What You Bring to Assure Success:Bachelor's degree in either Accounting for Finance.3 to 5 years of progressive work experience in a Public Accounting tax group or a Private Industry Tax Department.CPA preferred, but not required.Ability to efficiently read, understand and apply complex literature relating to, but not limited to tax, financial, and regulatory reporting.Ability to interpret company policy and procedures and apply them to resolve operational issues related to tax or regulatory mattersThe ability to effectively communicate and present tax, accounting, financial and other business-related information in one-on-one and small group situations.Ability to understand and apply all mathematical functions necessary to produce tax and regulatory returns and reports.Must be proficient in keyboarding at least 40 words per minute and proficient using a 10-key.
