DESCRIPTIONAmazon is looking for a results-oriented individual to lead AWS' U.S. Southwest and Latin America Infra-Energy Team. In this role, you will lead a team of professionals responsible for delivering gigawatts of large scale power infrastructure in partnership with electric utilities, regulators and energy companies across multiple AWS regions throughout North and South America. The candidate will grow and manage a diverse team actively delivering dozens of high voltage transmission and substation builds across these different geographies. They will evaluate opportunities to optimize total cost of ownership by managing energy capital and operating expenses. The candidate will originate and execute scalable strategies, mechanisms and programs to achieve these outcomes, working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
