Sr. Electrical Engineer Career Area: Engineering - Electrical What We're Looking For: Barge is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to lead engineering project design teams within our Facilities Engineering Solution Center. Location could be in any of the Barge Design Solutions office locations. Responsibilities for this position include: Leads complex electrical design projects in a multi-discipline environment.Provides technical design expertise to projects including development of solutions to engineering and technical challengesDesigns facility electrical systems for facilities projects including water/waste water treatment, commercial, institutional, federal, DOD, utility, and industrial facilitiesDesigns site utility and lighting systemsPrepares calculations and analyses of electrical systems such as lighting and power systemsReviews work developed by others for quality purposesLeads complex technical portions of meetings with clientsInteracts with other project design team members and clients to obtain and document Basis of Design CriteriaMentors other early career staffDevelops strong relationships with project managers, clients, contractors, and othersAdditional responsibilities as needed Education & Experience Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.Professional Engineer (PE) certification requiredMinimum 10 years of related experienceAn active NCEES Record is a strong plus.
