The position is considered entry-level to start during training, including a comprehensive overview of basic marketing strategy, direct advertising, promotional techniques, visual merchandising, and consumer market research. After completing each department, an individual would be considered a team leader in the marketing department and developed into an executive Marketing Management position. The Marketing Manager Trainee reports directly to the Executive Marketing Manager in.Primary Duties of the Management Trainee (Entry Level):Impacts sales results by developing, supporting, and executing field marketing and segment activities.Executes Marketing campaigns and Plans Events depending on expertiseWorks with appropriate clients to support campaigns.Works with various corporate/field marketing managers to determine appropriate customized programs and strategies for different market segments.Provides coordination and project management to ensure event success.Once the management capacity is reached, they may also attend these events as required.Monitors the use of existing sales toolsProvides input on requirements for additional toolsPublicizes events and works with Account Development to raise awareness and drive high attendance and participation levels by the targeted audience.Advises on new ideas to generate revenue for various clienteleSuccessful entry-level candidates will be responsible for setting up and executing events throughout the area with our huge retail venue clients. Ideas like making elections fair and putting power in the hands of voters.We are a team of outgoing extroverts who like talking to people about the issues of the day.Some staff stay for a project, others have worked here for 5 years or more!About the Team Leader PositionTeam Leaders gather signatures throughout the day, but also supervise 2-3 petitioners. Duties include:Working with managers to identify good spots (aka "turf") for your team members to petition.Being responsive to team needs, including managing breaks and moving people around.Knowing the location and status of nearby team members throughout the day.Consistently checking in and reporting numbers of signatures approximately every 30 minutes. Overseeing the turn-in of your team's petitions every night. Our best team leaders have these qualities:Excellent driving and navigation skills. Being able to use your GPS is great, but you ALSO need to have a general sense of direction.Good time management for yourself and your team.Numbers driven - knowing what the goals are every day.Friendly with a positive attitude.Flexible - things change often. Outgoing & fearless - petitioning is exciting, but you also need to be able to let rejection roll off your back.Valid driver's license with a clean - squeaky clean - driving record.
