Actively communicates with Customer Service and Planning departments to manage any inventory or order exceptions. Communicates order exceptions to Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Lead. Assists with inventory reconciliation. Assists with movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas, as needed. Effectively communicates via email or phone with Logistics/Trucking companies and sends shipment information and pickup dates via Logistics planning software. Adheres to company safety policies and procedures. Participates, as necessary, in pulling orders if warehouse workload demands. Performs other duties, as assigned. Requirements High School diploma or GED required. 3 years of experience in shipping & receiving environment, with at least one year of experience in shipping & receiving tasks. Forklift certification preferred. Ability to operate lift truck, hand jacks, computerized scales, wrapping machine, and metal banding machine. Accurate, careful and safe behavior is required. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Working knowledge of keyboarding/computer data entry. High attention to detail. Ability to perform math skills to include counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Functionally literate in the English language.
