Service Delivery Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Delivery Manager for Platform Engineering Operations to join our growing team. You will be part of the GCP Cloud Platform team who is responsible for deploying Cloud Native and 3rd party services for building an Analytics & Data Science platform. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and scalability of our analytics platform built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for leading a team of release and support engineers to provide technical support, manage incidents, releases and contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform operations. To adhere to our corporate location policies, this resource will be required to be local to the surrounding Atlanta areas (or willing to relocate for this position) and adhere to our Return To Office (RTO) / weekly onsite requirements (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). What you will do Lead and manage a team of Platform Engineering Operations Support specialists. Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders regarding the analytics platform on GCP. Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and escalate critical issues as needed. Develop and implement processes and procedures to optimize platform operations efficiency. Analyze platform performance data and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with platform engineering and data science teams to ensure operational alignment. Stay up-to-date on the latest GCP technologies and best practices for cloud operations. Document knowledge and procedures for platform operations. Contribute to the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans. What experience you need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 7+ years of experience in platform engineering operations, cloud operations, or a similar role. Proven experience in managing and leading a technical team either in operations or engineering. Should have prior experience managing technical direct reports. Experience with either GCP or AWS Data and Analytics products and services.
