Overview The Technical Project Manager will be primarily responsible for the success of assigned DevOps and/or CloudOps related projects by applying project management best practices and procedures. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional team members to ensure requirements are gathered and documented clearly, tasks are scheduled and completed on time, resulting in meeting project milestones according to plan and budget. Duties & Responsibilities Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Work with technical teams to define solutions based on functional and business requirements for each project Create and maintain project timelines and budgets. Measure progress against baseline to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget Perform risk management to minimize project risks and issues. Work with the project team and key stakeholders to remove any impediments and keep the project moving forward Report progress regularly and escalate to management as needed Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the timely execution of project deliverables Facilitate project team meetings to reach decisions effectively. Document and communicate out the results of these meetings to the broader team Collaborate with CloudOps Leadership and other Technical Project Managers to keep teams moving toward a shared vision Skills Required Experience in technical project management with proven capability of managing complex, cross-functional projects Ability to handle multiple tasks with differing priorities in a constantly changing and demanding environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills to all levels of the company Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact, influence, manage and negotiate effectively at all levels including senior level management Attention to detail and organized Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, IT or a related field AND a minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with Confluence for creating documentation and updating status reports Experience with project management tools such as MS Project.
