Glumac, A Tetra Tech Company, is seeking an experienced Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Mechanical team. As a senior mechanical engineer, you will have the opportunity to lead the mechanical discipline team through projects from early concept to construction completion. In this role, you will lead a portfolio of ground-breaking projects in a variety of market sectors including but not limited to Commercial, Education, Government, Healthcare, and Hospitality.The Sr Mechanical engineer will be responsible for the design and plan of sustainable mechanical systems for buildings and facilities. The successful candidate will lead technical communication with clients on MEP topics and will act as an Engineer of Record. They will be responsible for the overall quality of the engineering design, including the Code and Client's expectations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead assigned project teams and participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.Experience in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is critical for this role. The most successful candidate has a current PE license, is highly technical in HVAC design with at least 15 years of overall experience, and demonstrates a high level of leadership, mentorship, and technical capabilities to successfully delegate and provide mentoring to younger staff.This position offers a hybrid-remote work environment. You must be located in Portland, or Seattle AND ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE U.S. to attend project meetings on-site as needed to facilitate collaboration.
