What will you be doing? + Designing and testing complete computer systems to work at the customer site, taking compatibility, environmental, and functionality issues into account. + Collaborating with Sales, Customers, and Vendors to identify components to meet or exceed customer requirements. + Building prototype systems as needed to ensure prototype meets requirements. + Preparing technical documentation of build procedures and system usage. + Supporting Sales through demos and customer visits. + Supporting technical responses to RFPs & RFIs. + Traveling as required to implement, train, and support. Required SkillsRequired Experience All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this opportunity: + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience. Practical experience may be substituted in lieu of BS degree. Cisco CCNA, Red Hat (RHCE), or relevant Microsoft certification preferred. The following may be used to differentiate candidates who apply for this position: + Windows Desktop and Server Administration + Technical Writing (both internal and customer facing documentation) + Network Administration and Design + Linux Administration + Programming/scripting in one or more languages with a focus on automation of Windows/Linux administration tasks Your Total Rewards Package The range of base salary for the position is between $63,000 - $82,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
