Job Description Position Summary The Manager, Advanced Planning Supply is accountable for working cross functionally with operations partners from Advanced Planning Demand, Logistics, Procurement, Brewery Operations, and others to build and maintain long-term integrated supply chain supply plans (i.e. Billings, Inventory, Shipment, Production) thru the use of complex data and insights, that will feed both organizational strategic long term planning and set the baseline for S&OP tactical planning. This manager will be responsible for translating critical long term planning objectives into executable tasks with a team of three Advanced Planning Supply Planners. The Manager, Advanced Planning Supply’s leadership will be crucial in translating business value and user feedback into actionable developments and will be held accountable for specific business KPIs, ensuring the team's efforts align with the organization's overall objectives. This role requires a professional with a strong leadership background, the ability to inspire a team, and a track record of delivering results. Responsibilities:  Build and maintain our long-term strategic supply plans (i.e. Billings, Inventory, Shipment, Production) across the entire portfolio using key business inputs from cross functional partners to create a comprehensive integrated output that feeds our financial, operational and tactical planning processes.  Specific examples include, but not limited to: Lead the team to create an integrated supply chain inventory strategy using segmentation and multi-echelon inventory optimization methodologies in combination with known business factors to deliver optimal service levels and cost savings opportunities. In collaboration with the Advanced Planning Demand Manager, define and evolve collaborative capacity planning with external distributor partners. Refine and own the annual at-risk inventory budgeting process, setting long term strategy thru scenario planning, to help ensure a proactive approach that results in low financial obsolescence impacts. Collaborate with network design and logistics to build out our network capacity in line with requirements for volume and geography, in a service focus, cost-effective manner, considering our overall end-to-end inventory strategy and risk mitigation options. Facilitate cross functional partnership with Procurement to help define new ways of working and to help enhance our processes for materials inventory target creation, long term planning/purchasing decision making, and our materials risk approach. Build a methodology to document strategic assumptions used at the time of critical decision making, utilizing to keep organization aligned and evolving across advanced planning process. Build out ways of working for supply planning processes including the long-term capacity planning process, brewing and line capacity mapping, scenario making, capital decisioning and new products route to market planning. Contribute with determining process handoffs and touchpoint with the Advanced Planning new ways of working, including the transition of new products responsibilities to S&OP. Talent Management:  Build a diverse, highly agile team focused on successful outcomes and continuously identify areas of opportunity to improve, streamline or challenge the status quo. Support the creation and delivery of critical planning based KPIs and cost targets for end-to-end planning (e.g., inefficiency budgeting / projections and obsolescence budgeting.) Proven knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the CPG/Beverage Alcohol industry Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from Supply Chain, finance, and digital Proven knowledge and understanding of standard precision practices, technology and supporting industry principles. 3-5+ years of Integrated Business Planning required. You will contribute to the delivery of smart marketing and strategic advice through the combination of data & insights across multiple industry-leading clients in a dynamic environment.Areas of Responsibility:Marketing Mix Model Integration to Strategic and Tactical Media Planning:Work with third-party vendor Data Scientists and clients to estimate media spend to sales response relationships.Leverage PHD in-house optimization toolsets to provide optimal marketing spend and media channel budget spend allocations to maximize media return over investment.Media Target Audience Design:Support media target audience expansion to meet brand sales and other KPI goals.Identify revenue opportunities in new audiences utilizing in-house data sets that span transaction, behavioral, and other rich attributes at the individual level for US market.Segment audiences using internal and client first party data sets through unsupervised learning.Run predictive modeling utilities to define audiences for deployment, e.g., look-a-like modeling.Media Activation Analytics:Analyze media ad-server, and Demand Side Platforms, and media partner data in data clean rooms to make recommendations on media funnel optimization.custom bidding algorithms for media clients.Custom Modeling:Build predictive algorithms on top of our vast number of datasets via Statistical Modeling, Machine Learning, e.g., Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, and Bayesian Hierarchical ModelsMedia Measurement and Learning Agenda:Contribute to media measurement and test & learn implementation with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders.Develop actionable insights around campaign results to support media investment teams.Cross-Functional Teamwork:Partner with internal PHD Media Communications, Media Strategy, Digital and Video Investment to drive client brand growth in sales.Interface with third-party vendors to source requisite data for media measurement initiativesClient Management and Presentation:Maintain a productive relationship with clients at the peer level or higher to ensure they are informed of any new activities or updates to existing projects.Storytelling of results and analyses in presentation decks/slidesRequirements:Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences, or business/marketing related fields3-5 years of experience with predictive modeling, databases, computational simulation, clustering, machine learning in academia or industry (New graduates will also be considered depending on their educational background and academic record)1+ years of industry experience with Python, SQL, R, and other similar statistical computing environmentsExperience working in high volume data bases, utilizing quantitative techniques to solve problems such as campaign analysis, optimization, customer segmentation, and/or predictive modeling Strong command of statistical techniques and conceptsDesire to learn and passion for digital marketing, research and analyticsAbility to manage and prioritize concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environmentComfortable in explaining complex technical ideas to multiple audiences both verbally and in writingStrong written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail to deliver consistent and high-quality insightsPHD is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
