As our Senior DevOps Engineer, you'd be joining our R&D Software Engineering team in Andover, MA. In this position you will play a critical role in driving innovation, security, and reliability for our cloud-based platform.What is the product?In Core Software we develop and maintain a software portfolio used by Data Center Managers across the world to optimize their data center operations and keep an eye on the health of their Data Centers. The product is a multi-tenant Software-as-a-Service designed for scalability and high availability, and provides DCIM functionality within Planning, Modelling, Monitoring, Management, Environmental and Security features.How do we work?Schneider Electric's culture is fueled by a desire to put the customer first and enabling the Product Teams. We work in sprints in accordance with good agile principles inspired by SCRUM and Kanban. Most teams are organized as stream-aligned teams with full end-to-end responsibility for a specific area of the solution.What will you be doing? Translate requirements into solutions using Jira and Confluence as our main planning and collaboration tools. Provide expertise in incident response and participate in on-call rotations. Manage Kubernetes clusters to orchestrate containerized workloads in a distributed environment. Implement, support, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and ArgoCD. Implement, support, and maintain authentication and authorization mechanisms within Azure. Configure and manage monitoring and alerting systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the infrastructure and applications. Develop tools and scripts to automate routine tasks and streamline operational workflows using Terraform or Ansible. Participate in design discussions and provide recommendations for improving scalability, performance, and security of the solutions. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to DevOps, cloud computing, and data center management. Mentor junior team members, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
