You will lead design teams and work with other senior leaders and cross-functional team members to deliver the best possible experiences for our customers.Your Day to Day:GuideUX efforts across the PayPal product portfolio, including strategy, planning,working with cross-functional partners to deliver the best possible experiences for our customers.Own program strategy for end-to-end delivery using product development process lifecycles and workflows.Drive continuous improvement to design operations and processes (intake, capacity planning, tooling, workflow mapping)Collaborate with other cross-functional Design team leaders (Research, Content Design, Design Operations, Branding) and Business and Engineering stakeholders.Work with Program Management leaders in PayPal community to establish best practices in process, tooling, and approach.What You Need to Bring: A successful candidate should have at least 12+ years of experience as a producer, project manager, or program manager.Proven ability in managing projects within a design team or design operations is required.Candidates should have a minimum of 5+ years leading design program management teams.Thorough command of the UX lifecycle, knowledgeable in all skill areas and tools, including facilitation of workshops or other collaboration techniquesBackground in software, product, or design development and ability to understand technical designs, challenges, and risks quickly conceptuallyis preferred.Experience with project management software tools and templates; Familiarity with standard designandprototyping tools, such as Figma, Framer, and MiroExperience working in Finance, FinTech or a similar industry is an advantage.We know the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates.
