Child Welfare Program Manager The University of Pittsburgh’s Child Welfare Education and Research Programs (CWERP) is seeking a Child Welfare Program Manager (PM) for the Child Welfare Education for Baccalaureates program (CWEB). The PM will work with other CWEB faculty and staff to oversee and execute the strategic direction of ongoing activities associated with the expansion of the CWEB program to six or seven additional undergraduate social work programs across Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include student recruitment, enrollment, advising/degree progress and employment with a county child welfare agency; analyzing relevant data in support of academic process; planning, overseeing, and evaluating the activities of faculty and students in the program; determining successful programming and/or areas of improvement; and creating and executing programs to build and maintain a robust admissions pipeline to the CWEB program. This position includes the opportunity to provide teaching in either the undergraduate or graduate social work program at the discretion of the Principal Investigator and relevant Program Director. Effective working relationships with partner university faculty; county children and youth administrators and staff; as well as other School of Social Work faculty and staff is essential. An MSW is required. Public child welfare employment and prior teaching experience is preferred.The CWERP programs operate in a hybrid work approach where work can be completed remotely as permitted under a Flexible Work Agreement.
