Master's degree in one of the chemical, physical or biological sciences and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time clinical laboratory experience including one (1) year of experience in a Flow Cytometry laboratory; or3. Bachelor's degree in one of the chemical, physical or biological sciences and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in Flow Cytometry clinical laboratory; or4. Bachelor's degree in medical technology or laboratory science and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in a Flow Cytometry clinical laboratory.NOTES:1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the appropriate certification within six (6) months of their appointment to this title.2. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.Preferred Qualifications:The preferred candidate will have experience working in a Clinical Laboratory, an understanding of Flow Cytometry, knowledge of Immunology, a valid New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license and prior experience that would prepare the candidate for a leadership and management role. They will also have an understanding of medical terminology, proficiency with specialized computer software, aptitude for technology, and ability to master technologically-complex instrumentation, and the capacity to work in a dynamic and busy laboratory environment.
