Essential Functions These are the job duties required of the position.Essential FunctionsAssists with the Facilities & Game/Event Operations for 17 varsity sport programs and the associated Athletics facilities. Facilities duties will include, but are not limited to the day-to-day management of athletic facilities concerning operations, scheduling, maintenance, renovations and designated projects. Game operations duties will include, but are not limited to the oversight and execution of athletics game/event operations and logistics.Facilities duties include coordinating repairs, maintenance, grounds work, janitorial services, lighting schedules, access requests, graphics, and other issues associated with the physical building or grounds.Assists in the coordination of multiple constituencies within and around all games and events, teams, officials, media, ticketing, ushers, parking and traffic, police and security, fire and EMT, etc., which may include multiple events on single days.Assists in ensuring and accommodating a safe environment for all student­ athletes/participants, coaches, support staff and spectators, to include regular season, post­season and special competitions, and other events held yearly at athletic department facilities.Assists in the development and maintenance of departmental facilities policies and procedures manuals and visiting team guides for each athletic facility.Assists in creating and managing operations which lead to superior customer service and experience.Assists in the supervision of applicable game operations staff, including students.Works with coaches, athletic department staff, and campus personnel to schedule and allocate facilities time usage for all athletics teams.Serves as the department lead on summer camps/sport clinics scheduling and acts as campus liaison for the athletic department in those areas.Ensures compliance with all applicable NCAA, Sun Belt Conference, and University rules and regulations.Moves, lifts, and carries equipment and supplies weighing to 50 lbs., in various weather conditions.Utilizes a computer and various software to perform functions.Efficiently works under pressure with careful attention to detail.Set priorities and completes assignments in a timely manner.Regular and prompt attendance.Ability to work schedule as assigned and overtime as required, including nights and weekends.Related duties as required.
