The Radiation Therapy Technologist 1 simulates and administers radiation treatment to patients as prescribed by the physicians. This position monitors the patients' physical conditions to determine whether any adverse side effects are taking place and provides emotional support as appropriate.CORE JOB FUNCTIONS Administers doses of radiation to specific body parts using radiation therapy equipment according to established practices and standards as prescribed by the physicians.
