This position requires a proficient understanding of the technical aspects of the work, to the extent that they can ensure output is done to high quality standards.  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises the daily workflow and quality of output to ensure alignment with company and departmental goals and objectives Coaches and trains junior staff on company policy and procedures as well as best practices in technological troubleshooting and customer service, serves as the first level of escalation to deal with more complex and advanced technology support and troubleshooting inquiries Understands the dynamics of the team and takes proactive measures to resolve disputes and/or concerns and escalates to higher level supervisors as required Seen as a front-line resource for junior staff for advanced and/or routine requests Reviews work of direct reports to ensure the quality and accuracy of deliverables   Provides high level trouble shooting, escalates problems to the higher level supervisors/managers to ensure the solution meets the team’s needs MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent work experience At least three year of hands-on technical experience in technology support or related field Possesses working knowledge of standard end user hardware and software and is able to address most issues by following established procedures PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Five years of hands-on technical experience in a technology support or related field One to two years of hands-on supervisory experience in the technology support or related field Has demonstrated an understanding of high quality information technique work and team work     BEHAVIORAL COMPENTENCIES •    Accountability – Level Three •    Excellence – Level Two •    Innovation – Level Two •    Safety – Level Two •    Teamwork & Collaboration – Level Three •    Communication – Level Three •    Decision Making – Level Three •    Leadership – Level One •    Business Focus – Level One TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES Technical Trouble Shooting – Level One IT Environment – Level Two Emerging Technologies – Level One IT Standards, Procedures, Policies – Level Two IT Project Management – Level One PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS •    Office environment •    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit.
