Our tax accountants participate in all aspects of taxation, including domestic and international reporting for 200+ filing entities.ResponsibilitiesProvide transaction details, trial balances, account detail analysis, and other necessary information requested by external tax return preparers for the federal, state, and foreign tax returns Review federal, state, and foreign tax returns for partnerships and corporations prepared by external tax service providers Prepare various tax forms, including W-9, 1042, FBARs Assist in preparation of quarterly and year-end taxable income projections for multiple consolidated partnerships Prepare workpapers that are consistent with department standards Assist in the preparation of year-end tax provisions Prepare and assist in maintaining tax depreciation ledgers involving basis adjustments from renewable tax credits, Section 743(b) and 734(b) adjustments, and other book-to-tax basis reconciliations Assist with tax audits, prepare responses to notices, and respond to other tax-related inquiries Assist in developing project plans and workable business processes for assigned projects or functions in alignment with function strategy Required SkillsBachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, or related field Self-starter to quickly learn new areas of tax as the business evolves Positive mindset to identify improvements and solutions Analytical, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally Detail oriented and flexible to adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficiency with software and system applications (Oracle, Excel, MS Word, Alteryx etc.) and ability to learn internal applications Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Skills Master's Degree in Taxation or CPA is a plus 1+ years of tax experience preferredPrior experience in energy, power, real estate, or infrastructure space is a plus Experience with partnership tax compliance and transactions is a plusBenefitsEligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), bonus, paid time off, etc.Invenergy LLC is an equal opportunity employer. They are looking for someone with 3+ years of accounting experience in a fast paced company.Responsibilities include:Manage weekly payables check runs and aging reports.Work with Accounts Payable function to ensure property invoices are processed and coded correctly.Prepare Journal entries, bank reconciliationsComplete month-end accounting closing process and issuance of financial statement packages including maintenance of recurring and reversingAssist in compiling budget data.Update and manage fixed asset detail ledgers and depreciation.Assist in providing audit schedules, data requests and auditor inquiries.Comply with federal, state and company laws, policies and regulationsQualifications3+ years' of professional accounting experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experienceCPA preferred
