Just like every drop counts, at Badger Meter every employee counts because our contributions have a lasting impact on the world!What You Will Contribute:The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II will focus on developing a pipeline of innovative process improvements and will work with the New Product Development (NPD), Advanced Development (AD) and Sustaining teams to identify opportunities to implement these processes where applicable. Processes include hermetically sealing methods, joining similar and dissimilar materials, dispensing, laser marking, leak testing, accuracy testing, assembly, etc. This position will be mentored by a more senior level engineer, but will be responsible for owning projects, following the established processes, completing deliverables on time, and communicating status and roadblocks with stakeholders. While this role is focused on research and development, the ideal candidate would be comfortable with the standard NPD process and be willing to step in on NPD projects as needed. This position will be required to work cross-functionally and the candidate will need to be comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization.
