Reviews and verifies accuracy of billing and supporting documentation, as required. Confirm rates and any fee arrangements are reflected for each individual matter. Creates and prints/uploads final client billing. Researches and responds to inquiries regarding billing issues and problems. Ensures timely and accurate billing of client accounts to ensure contract compliance. Proactively initiate customer contacts, provide invoice copies, update POs, documentation and other activities required to ensure payment on past due invoices. Process billing adjustments and client discrepancies with a sense of urgency. Maintain relationships with internal and external customers to drive efficiency in processes. Assist in projects, process improvements, and other collection related tasks as identified by management. Clarifies any questionable invoice items, prices, or receiving required approval signatures with the Project Manager. Corrects errors or lists discrepancies for adjustment, including communication via phone and/or email with clients. Perform other duties as assigned.
