Job SummaryThe Senior Electrical Engineer will have a strong technical background in substation project and controls in a high or medium voltage environment to support our Energy team in meeting the needs of our impressive list of private clients . This Engineer will play a key role in leading efforts to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget.Duties and Responsibilities Perform advanced professional engineering in connection with major or complex eng ineering projects and/or multiple projects simultaneously . Professional Requirements Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited institution . Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT and actively pursuing PE. 7+ years of experience independently planning, performing, and coordinating advanced level professional and technical engineering studies, computations, drawings, reports, and surveys . Strong experience in substation protection and controls as well as setting and programming relays. S trong ability to organize, supervise, and evaluate the technical work of staff and project engineers . Ability to suggest alternative solutions to client problems and resolve complex challenges. Ability to exercise independent initiative and judgement in setting and implementing engineering goals and providing guidance to team's understanding of quality . Advanced knowledge of design techniques and tools in the production of technical plans, drawings, and models. Experience leading an engineering team through all phases of a project design.
