Quality Program Manager - Registered Nurse - Trauma/Burn Program

The Quality Program Manager, RN Trauma/Burn Service will be accountable to strengthen the Trauma and Burn Centers' Performance Improvement and Patient Safety, by developing programs that are focused on education, outreach, and clinical research activities. S/he oversees and is accountable for ensuring collection, maintenance, analysis, and dissemination of quality, safety, research and compliance data findings. The Quality Program Manager RN must also be able to design, manage, and implement a variety of projects and improvement activities across multiple academic and operational departments. S/he will be directing and/or collaborating with a diverse range of internal and external contacts, ranging from pre-hospital providers, patients/families, care improvement consultants, nurses, surgeons, and other care providers and multidisciplinary specialists, as well as medical directors. This role is supervised by the Nursing Director of the Trauma/Burn Program. Title : Project LeadLocation: Boston MADescription:• Lead/Execute projects in line with standard project management guidelines• Lead issues and supply chain projects impacting patient safety, compliance, quality, service, growth, and value.• Instill and maintain a sense of urgency and customer focus within the Supply Chain team in collaboration with external manufacturing partners• Ensure that projects are performed in compliance with the Quality System and drive efforts to improve a culture of quality and compliance• Develop strong business partner relationships throughout the organization to ensure excellence in project execution.• Develop in-depth understanding of various business processes, governances and supporting systems and the tools/templates used for project & portfolio management• Demonstrate strong project management skills, including accurate and effective project planning, creation of shared team goals, delivering project in line with established milestone dates, resource management, capital/expense management, developing and executing communication plans, leading resolution of risks & issues, risk management and balancing multiple activities to accomplish goals• Able to critically analyze manufacturing process and technology changes to assess case for change and impact across the E2E supply chain.
