This role is responsible for general ledger accounting and financial reporting and analysis in relation to the monthly financial statement close process and the operating companies' financial statement review. Key deliverables include providing accurate, timely and relevant financial reporting and planning and forecasting support to Management. The Senior Financial Analyst is also a finance partner to Operations, IT, Legal, Sales, Treasury, and Corporate and Regional Accounting Teams.Financial Reporting Essential Functions:Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making.Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as needed.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries.Provide balance sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations and other supporting schedules.Analyze foreign currency and translation impact on consolidated results.Perform other related duties as assigned.Document and enforce corporate accounting policies and procedures.Communicate, research, and resolve subsidiary and regional inquiries related to US GAAP and company policy.Coordination of year-end audit with international subsidiaries and regional offices. Collaborate with IT on consolidation and reporting software updates and developments related to system upgrades, financial reporting, and required improvements. Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance.Support regions and subsidiaries on interface of local accounting system to consolidation software and address training needs.Propose process improvement solutions for system applications.Special projects and analysis as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.3+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis in a multi-national companyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Excel.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.ENVIRONMENT: 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Infosys is seeking a Principal Consultant (Treasury Domain) for Manufacturing Process & Domain Consulting Group.As a Lead Consultant, part of Process & Domain Consulting (Manufacturing vertical) will drive consulting led client engagements while working closely with Infosys senior delivery managers, client engagement managers and sales teams. Need to own the domain/business thread of a large IT program ensuring that the solution meets/exceeds client expectations. Experience of working on client assignments, typically large digital transformation, or AMS programs, as an individual contributor or as a domain leader. Candidate must engage with client business and IT teams, and internal Infosys stakeholders throughout the phases of an IT program from planning through solutioning and implementing. Define business/process models considering Industry best practices for Treasury relating Operations, functionals solutions and developing the relevant digital capabilities. Work closely with treasury professionals, risk managers to understand their needs and provide qualitative support to respective stakeholders.Required Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in domain consulting along with industry experience. Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding to interpret customer current and business needs. Translate them into IT application /operating system and Functional Processes requirements. Experience in facilitating meetings and drive discussions with senior customer executives, business users, and IT team members. Good exposure and understanding in Corporate Treasury Functions including capability in building and analyzing Cash & Liquidity Forecasting Model, Forex, and relevant aspect relating to capital market. Preferred Qualifications: Fairly good understanding towards Cash Management, Middle-Office Operations, Forex & Banking, Financial Reporting, Compliance & Risk Management, and cash planning. Experience as an industry/market analyst focused on the above segments is also valid. Ability to collaborate with teams located across different geographies and time zones. Familiarity with IT and software development project lifecycle 1-2 years' experience in Sales or sales support role.
