Paid Time Off (PTO)4. 401(k) PlanWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Westborough, MA, USABASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience- Experience with prototyping and implementation- Ability to manage and deliver projects with accelerated schedules.- Experience and proven skill in written and verbal business communications, including writing white papers, designing organizational communications, reporting metrics.- Experience with Process Optimization Tools including Programming, Mapping, Simulation or various algorithms.- Experience in New Product Introduction environment including Phase-Gate process experience.- Experience using industry Problem Solving Tools such as 8D, Fishbone/Cause-Effect, or CAPA methodology.- Experience using Quality-Statistical tools such as PFMEA and various statistical techniques such as control charting, pareto, or histograms.- Experience reviewing and generating product/fixture designs in Solidworks.- Experience reviewing and generating plant layouts in AutoCAD.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools- Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume- Demonstrated experience in Electrical, Mechanical, and Pneumatic diagnosis and troubleshooting of robotic and other machines and equipment- Robotic programming experience (Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, etc.)Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
