The Food Depository works intentionally through partnership to break down barriers of nutrition access for specific populations. The Program Coordinator will work collaboratively to support the design, implementation and logistics management of targeted food access programs that meet the needs of older adults. The Food Depository partners with older adult community centers, residential buildings, and community organizations to address food and nutrition security amongst older adults and ensure they have access to the healthy food they need. Each year, the Mobile Unit services about 1,000 school-aged and preschool aged children and adolescents, providing health exams, sports physicals, immunizations, health screening, health education, adolescent medicine and other services that are necessary for school entry or indicated because of the students' medical needs.
