The CHI team is internationally recognized for providing patients with excellent quality cardiac care for children and adults with congenital heart defects.There are 27 cardiologists offering acute care, fetal, cardiac MR/CT, interventional, electrophysiology, heart failure, transplant, pulmonary hypertension, exercise physiology, preventive and community cardiology services along with 4 dedicated congenital heart surgeons. The hospital has a 20-bed dedicated cardiac ICU, 20 intermediate care beds, and a 120-bed NICU. Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital is ranked in the top 30 pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery programs in the 2023-2024 US News & World Report.
