Share responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of work sites, to comply with regulatory and company Environmental, Health and Safety standards and procedures. Communicate and prepare reports for submittal internally, externally, to governmental agencies and customers. Support Dominion Energy and contracted staff, inspect, or assess, and provide recommendations regarding environmental compliance issues to personnel responsible for compliance tasks and management. Analyze data and prepare management reports on environmental compliance records. Serve as primary site coordinator with internal department and external agencies on environmental, safety or chemical management issues. Procure services or materials for the administration and implementation of environmental programs and projects, such as managing waste materials onsite, coordinating disposal, regulatory inspections, conditional use permits, and maintenance of oil and stormwater infrastructure. Provide environmental training to site personnel in handling of chemicals and waste materials, spill prevention, erosion, and sediment control and for other environmental compliance topics and requirements. Implement environmental compliance plans to address current or changing law and regulations. Responsive to planned and unplanned work occurring during and outside of typical business hours 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week.
