RESPONSIBILITIES Engages in activities associated with planning, design, and construction documents including code analysis documents, studies, reports, sketches, schematic drawings, renderings, specifications, final contract documents, and as-built drawings. Along with the Project Manager and other design professionals, communicates with clients to establish project scope of work, building program needs. Plans layout of project and integrates architectural elements into unified design for client review and approval. Prepares scale drawings and contract documents for building contractors. Maintains working knowledge of current industry software including Revit and BIM. Other duties as assigned. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS BS/BA in Architecture, or MS/MA in Architecture. 5 - 7+ years of experience in the design and documentation of architecture projects including well-developed skills in three-dimensional visualization. Demonstrated Building Information Modeling (BIM) (Autodesk Revit Architecture) AutoCAD proficiency, and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel). Strong graphic design, communication and presentation skills are essential. Proficient understanding of inter-relationships among design/engineering disciplines, clients and constructors.
