You will manage Outside Plant(OSP) Telecom field data collection in the US for multiple Cyient customer accounts. You will be required to engage business and personal property owners, as well as mulit-family residence to identify yourself and your intent for being on their property. You will visit multiple job locations daily and record and analyze existing field conditions related to Telecom poles, Aerial/Underground structures and Street/Right of Way measurements for future/current Cell Sites. You will also learn to determine ideal locations & situations for above ground equipment and fiber optic cables and identify issues in the field that could improve network designs. You will collect and submit data using various types of handheld electronic GIS equipment, and other handheld equipment IE IKE, Fulcrum, LiDAR as well as other equipment. Work may involve walking one or more miles daily while collecting data. We will provide job training in the use of all electronic equipment required to complete the work and outside plant utility recognition/design.You must have a permanent residing US address, have current authorization to work in the United States, and be able to travel extensively.Under direct supervision, performs basic customer support activities for equipment and systems products such as wiring, cabling, and relatively non-complex equipment. Using detailed company guidelines, performs on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation. Assists higher level technicians with on-site installations, check-out, and emergency repairs. Refers more complex problems to higher level technicians. Knowledge of operational systems may be broad, but not as in-depth as a field engineer. Typically requires formal technical training beyond high school and no prior experience.
