The Rockland County Sewer District is seeking a licensed professional Engineer for engineering work of a complex nature involving responsibility for supervision of various construction and renovation projects with the County's sewer and wastewater facilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: The supervision of design, preparation of plans and specifications and construction projects for alteration, rehabilitation and additions to or enhancement of the water treatment plant and pumping station facilities, as well as related equipment, system components, buildings, grounds, roadways, etc.; The planning of ongoing comprehensive sewer system maintenance and the infiltration/inflow removal program; Provides related technical and engineering support; Provides and supervises training programs for technical, operations and maintenance personnel.
