Job Description Summary:The EPC OTS Project Manager is responsible for the management of all aspects of utility-scale solar projects related to SCADA, including project planning, budgeting, buyout, project control/reporting, scheduling, risk management, etc. The Project Manager will also provide both leadership and technical expertise internally and externally for project success.Job Description:*This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assignedPosition Responsibilities and Duties:Participate in RFP reviews with business development team by providing guidance on our approach to fulfill the SCADA scope of workSupport our business development and estimating groups with project proposals and pricingManage the SCADA scope, schedule and budget from LNTP through closeout and commissioningProvide monthly status reports to management teamSupport procurement and contract execution activities with 3rd party vendors, activities include; scope of work coordination, scheduling, material procurement, closeoutManage SCADA project implementation and provide monthly status reports to management teamInterface directly with project stakeholders to collect project documentation; stakeholders may include, owner / operators, utility personnel, field personnelInterface directly with our clients to provide system training, collect user feedback and punch- list items for system handoffInterface directly with our clients for ongoing support triage and status updatesParticipate in system design review's, participation includes capturing and managing meeting minutes, action items, RFI's, change requestsAssist in the development and management of project schedulesSupport a culture of continuous improvement and look for opportunities to improve processes and manage projects more efficientlyMaintain relationships with SOLV Energy business partnersMaintain working relationships with clients and industry vendorsIndustry awareness of the competitive landscapeKeep tabs on industry pricing and fair market value of our SCADA platformObjectives or Goals to Measure Performance:Successful project completion - On time and within budgetCustomer/client satisfaction and retentionEnable our SCADA and Network engineers to be self-sufficient in managing their projectsStrong collaboration with project teams on managing project scope, schedule, and budgetPromote a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharingMinimum Skills or Experience Requirements:Minimum of 4 years project management experience preferred but not required, proven experience managing multiple projects within multidisciplinary teams required.Minimum of 4 years of PV solar industry experience (industrial or utility scale experience desired)PMP Certification desired but not requiredGeneral knowledge of SCADA system design, setup, commissioning and support (desired but not required)Customer escalation and conflict resolution skills desirableResource planning and mitigation managementCost budget managementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience working with schedule software including but not limited to Oracle P6 and/or Microsoft ProjectProficient use of Microsoft office tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, Power BIExperience using task management tools including but not limited to; MS Teams, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira or others.Experience working for a diverse multi-disciplined employee owned companyStrong team building and leadership skillsEnergetic, enthusiastic, charismaticStrong communication skills to clearly articulate vision into an executable planEntrepreneurial spirit and risk takingSOLV Energy Is an Equal Opportunity EmployerAt SOLV Energy we celebrate the power of our differences.
