Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

One of our clients, a major in Financial Services is looking for a strong QA/Test Automation Engineer. This is a W2 only position and requires minimum 7-8 years of experience.Demonstrable experience of working in an Agile team as a QA/SET, collaborating with developers on test case definition, execution and automation.Proficient in Oracle Database SQL/Postgres, ideally Cloud variants such as CLoudSQL.Experience testing containerised applications in Kubernetes/GKE, ideally in GCP. Experience testing J2EE, Tomcat or other Java Application Server based applicationsSolid working knowledge of UNIX/LinuxExperience using continuous integration/deployment tools such as XLR, Bitbucket/Stash, Argo Workflows, JenkinsExperience using collaboration tools JIRA, ConfluenceKnowledge of trading, capital markets very usefulKnowledge of Asset Management, banking, settlement domain would be helpful but not requiredStrong ability to learn new technologies and applications quickly.Ability to work independently.
