Support, develop and continuously optimize strategy for orders of all incoming ingredients, packaging materials, consumables, supplies and other items as needed by the plant, directly or indirectly through others.Assist in oversight of plant targets for adequate inventories of materials and supplies by developing and using a broad and deep working understanding of plant operational requirements, production planning and supplier lead times.Manages all soft and hard packaging transitions initiated by the plant, the customer or category management to ensure minimal excess of obsolete packaging and other materials.Develop and Maintain tracking for obsolete packaging timely disposal.Prepare and deliver plant specific reports and reconciliation in support of current production plan.Supports oversight of accurate reporting of receipts and inventories into the SAP system to support financial reporting, including investigating and resolving discrepancies.Follows up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery dates.Coordinates identification of plant-level supply requirements and provides input to the Procurement Group for prioritization and sourcing actions.Collaborates on activities at the plant-level to achieve 100% compliance with each supplier program. Works with the procurement team and other available resources to track and monitor compliance of all procurement programs.Assists with implementation of inventory best practices as appropriate.Performs other duties as assigned.You are best suited for the role if you...
